Supporting Home School Partnership in Early Years

Abstract :This internship project aimed to enhance home-school partnerships by emphasizing contributions of educators and parents while fostering bidirectionality between home and school to optimize children's learning. The methodology incorporated qualitative approaches, including classroom observations, parent and educator interviews, task implementation, and focus group discussions. The findings underscored challenges such as communication gaps and time constraints but highlighted the importance of tailoring tasks to children’s interests and promoting collaborative learning practices. The study concludes with recommendations for ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships and enhance bidirectional learning.
