Overview of the Development of the Artificial Intelligence Management (AIM) option for BCIT's Business Information Technology Management (BITMAN) program

Abstract :The Artificial Intelligence Management (AIM) option for BCIT’s Business Information Technology Management (BITMAN) program began development in early 2019 with a substantial portion of the design work and institutional approvals occurring during the COVID-19 pandemic. This presentation will outline the development process, the implementation, the challenges, and the results (e.g. selection in Maclean’s magazine’s Best Programs For Today’s Careers (https://macleans.ca/education/best college-programs-to-get-a-job/). An overview of the curriculum and future goals will also be included.
