Antibacterial Effect Of Neem And Triphala Based Herbal Root Canal Irrigants

Abstract : Root canal irrigation is crucial in endodontics Therefore it is of interest to evaluate antibacterial efficacy of Neem and Triphala based root canal irrigants against different bacteria . Antimicrobial efficacy of herbal irrigants and sodium hypochloride was done using brain-heart infusion method . The tested neem and triphala based herbal irrigants had antibacterial efficacy against different bacteria . Hence these neem and triphala based herbal irrigants are alternative to sodium hypochloride
