Enhancing Coca-Cola's ERP System with Blockchain Technology for Supply Chain Transparency and Efficiency
Author : Hawazen Awad Metair
Abstract : The integration of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems has played a pivotal role in streamlining Coca Cola’s global operations. However, persistent challenges remain in achieving full transparency, traceability, and efficiency across the supply chain. This study proposes the integration of blockchain technology with Coca Cola’s existing ERP system to address these challenges. Blockchain’s decentralized and immutable ledger system offers enhanced traceability, reduced fraud, and improved operational efficiency. This research explores the feasibility, benefits, and challenges of ERP-blockchain integration, supported by data analysis, case studies, and theoretical frameworks. The findings highlight that blockchain integration can improve supply chain visibility, data integrity, and overall performance, thereby positioning Coca-Cola as a pioneer in technological innovation within the beverage industry
